Every vape does the same basic thing: a battery sends power to a coil, the coil heats, and e-liquid soaked into the wick around it turns to vapour. Everything else — modes, coil types, pod designs — is about controlling how much power reaches the coil, how evenly it heats, and how well the liquid stays where it belongs.
Start with modes. The Mr Fog Aura 60K, a disposable rated up to 60,000 puffs, has three: ECO, BOOST, and TURBO. Each step sends more power to the coil. More power means more heat, more vapour per puff, and a stronger sensation — and it also means e-liquid and battery are used faster. ECO stretches the device; TURBO gives you the biggest draw it can make. The Aura has a 900mAh battery that recharges by Type-C, which is what lets it keep up across modes.
The practical takeaway is that a puff rating assumes moderate use. If you live in TURBO, expect the real total to come in below the number on the box.
Next, the coil. The Aura uses a dual-core mesh coil. A mesh coil is a flat, perforated sheet of heating material rather than a single wound wire, so it heats across a wider, more even surface. Two of them share the work. Even heating matters because hot spots are what scorch a wick and produce a burnt taste; spreading the heat out is the fix.
The Uwell Typhos SE is a refillable device, so its modes work a little differently. It offers Storm and Waves firing modes and output up to 25W, powered by a 2,000mAh battery with USB-C charging. Our listing doesn't spell out exactly how each mode shapes the power, so the honest advice is practical: try both at a moderate setting and see which draw you prefer.
Then there's leaking, which is the most common complaint about refillable pods. The Typhos SE uses Uwell's CoreShield design, which Uwell rates at up to 50% better leak protection. Leaks usually come from liquid getting past the wick — from overfilling, pressure changes, or a flooded coil. A design that manages that path keeps liquid in the pod instead of in your pocket.
Its pod holds 5.5mL and, in the Canada-market version, has a child-resistant closure. That second detail is a genuine safety feature in any home with children, because nicotine e-liquid is dangerous if swallowed.
Now put it together. The Aura 60K is a sealed device where the modes are the only thing you control; everything else was decided at the factory, including the coil and the e-liquid. The Typhos SE hands you more of the decisions: which e-liquid, which mode, how much power. If you like a device that just works, the Aura's three modes are plenty. If you want to tune the experience, the Typhos SE gives you the controls.
Strength ties into all of this. The Aura is 20 mg/mL nicotine salt. With the Typhos SE, you choose your e-liquid: at moderate wattage and a tighter draw, most people pick between 12 and 20 mg/mL; at higher wattage and a looser draw, lower strengths suit better. Canada's legal ceiling is 20 mg/mL — nothing stronger can be sold here.
Getting it to Tisdale is simple: tracked courier from our Saskatoon location, ID at checkout and again at delivery, and tracking from the moment it ships. A couple of days is typical; same-day delivery is limited to Saskatoon.
All our stock carries the federal excise stamp and comes from authorized Canadian distributors. Saskatchewan permits flavoured vaping products beyond tobacco, mint, and menthol only through specialty vape retailers and online sales, which is the channel we operate in.
One item or ten, there's no minimum and no membership, and the total with delivery shows before you confirm.
A few more inside details are worth knowing.
Airflow works together with power. More airflow cools the coil and gives a looser draw; less airflow concentrates the vapour. On a device with modes, airflow and mode together shape the feel, which is why the same mode can feel different from one person to the next.
Wicks are the part that wears first. The cotton around a coil carries e-liquid to it, and over time residue builds up, especially with sweeter e-liquids. When flavour dulls on a refillable, a new coil or pod is usually the answer. On a sealed disposable like the Aura, it's a sign the device is reaching its end.
Charging keeps modes consistent over a device's life. The Aura recharges over Type-C, and the Typhos SE's 2,000mAh battery gives a long stretch between charges. Heat matters here too: leaving a device in a hot car or a cold truck affects the battery, which in turn affects how the modes perform. Room temperature between uses is best.
When either device is finished, its lithium battery means it goes to a battery or electronics recycling drop-off, not the garbage. And store both well away from children and pets.
Tisdale's honeybee is a reminder that the town's identity grew out of farming. The inside of a vape is far less picturesque, but it's worth ten minutes of understanding if it saves you a burnt coil or a leaky pocket.
Everyone who orders from Prairie Vape has to be 19 or older — the same in every province, and Saskatchewan's legal age as well.
