Vape Delivery in Tramping Lake, Saskatchewan | Prairie Vape
Tramping Lake lost more than 40% of its residents between the 2016 and 2021 census counts — from 60 people to 35. A smaller village doesn't change what we ship or how, but it does make every order count, and that's a good reason to understand the specs you're buying. This page covers one set of numbers people usually skip past: battery capacity and charging, and what they actually mean for daily use.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does mAh mean on a vape?
What does mAh mean on a vape?
Milliamp-hours — how much charge the battery holds. Higher generally means longer between charges, depending on how hard the device runs.
Does 2A fast charging need a special charger?
Does 2A fast charging need a special charger?
To get the full speed, use a charger that can supply that current. A lower-output charger still works, just more slowly.
Is the Geek Bar Pulse X rechargeable?
Is the Geek Bar Pulse X rechargeable?
Yes — it charges over USB-C, so its 820mAh battery can keep up with its 20mL of e-liquid.
Does cold weather damage vape batteries?
Does cold weather damage vape batteries?
Cold makes a battery seem weak until it warms up, and temperature extremes are hard on batteries over time. Keep devices at room temperature between uses.
What mAh, fast charging, and Type-C actually mean
Start with mAh — milliamp-hours. It's a measure of how much charge a battery can hold. A bigger number means more stored energy, which generally means more time between charges. The Vaporesso XROS 6 Mini has a 1,600mAh battery. The Geek Bar Pulse X has an 820mAh battery. On paper, the XROS 6 Mini holds nearly twice the charge.
But mAh alone doesn't tell you how long a device lasts, because it doesn't say how fast the device uses that charge. A device running at higher power drains its battery faster. The XROS 6 Mini can go up to 30W, but it's a mouth-to-lung pod built around a tighter, lower-power draw, and at low settings a 1,600mAh battery stretches a long way. Run any device harder and its battery life shrinks, whatever the mAh.
That's the first practical lesson: compare mAh between similar devices used in similar ways. It's a rough guide, not a promise.
Next, charging speed. The XROS 6 Mini supports 2A fast charging. The "A" is amps — the rate current flows into the battery. A higher charging current fills the battery faster, if the charger can supply it. A low-output charger will still work, just more slowly. If fast charging matters to you, use a charger rated to supply the current the device supports.
The Geek Bar Pulse X also advertises fast charging, over USB-C. That's worth noting because it's a disposable: its battery is recharged so it can keep up with its 20mL of e-liquid, which is rated for up to 25,000 puffs. On a rechargeable disposable, the battery never has to be the thing that ends the device's life; the e-liquid is.
USB-C, also called Type-C, is simply the connector. It's the same oval plug used by most current phones, so one cable can often charge both. Both devices here use it.
Now, how batteries behave in the real world — especially here. Lithium batteries don't like temperature extremes. In a Saskatchewan winter, a device left in a cold vehicle will seem weak or drain quickly until it warms up. In summer, leaving one in direct sun or a hot car is hard on the battery over time. Room temperature between uses keeps performance closer to the rating.
Charging habits matter too. You don't need to run a battery flat before recharging it; topping up when it's convenient is fine. Charge on a hard surface rather than a bed or couch, and don't leave a device charging unattended for long periods.
And when a battery's life is over, it needs proper disposal. Both of these contain lithium batteries, so take a finished Pulse X or a retired XROS 6 Mini to a battery or electronics recycling drop-off rather than putting it in household garbage.
Which of the two suits you? The XROS 6 Mini is a refillable pod with side airflow control, a 2 or 3mL top-fill pod, and a 60-second smart-prime feature for new pods, in ten colours. You'll buy e-liquid separately. The Pulse X is a disposable with a curved LED display and two modes, Standard and Pulse, in 12 flavours — nothing to fill.
On strength, the Pulse X is 20 mg/mL. For the XROS 6 Mini at its usual tight setting, most people choose a nicotine salt e-liquid between 12 and 20 mg/mL. Canada allows nothing stronger than 20 mg/mL.
Delivery to Tramping Lake is by tracked courier from our Saskatoon location, with ID checked at checkout and on arrival. A couple of days is typical; same-day delivery is Saskatoon-only.
The federal excise stamp and an authorized Canadian distributor stand behind every product we sell. Saskatchewan confines flavoured vaping products beyond tobacco, mint, and menthol to specialty vape retailers and online sales, and Tramping Lake is covered by that same rule.
Order a single device if that's all you need — no minimum, no membership.
A few more battery points help in daily use.
Charging time depends on both battery size and charging current. A bigger battery holds more but takes longer to fill at the same current, which is why fast charging matters more on larger batteries like the XROS 6 Mini's.
Battery capacity slowly declines over a device's life. On a refillable device you keep for months, you may notice it needs charging a little more often over time. That's normal lithium-battery behaviour.
On a disposable, battery and e-liquid are sized together. The Pulse X's rechargeable 820mAh battery means the 20mL of e-liquid, not the battery, sets how long the device lasts.
Travel is worth a note too. If you carry a device in a pocket or bag, keep it away from keys and coins, and don't leave it charging in a vehicle. Lithium batteries are safest kept cool, dry, and undamaged.
If a battery ever swells, gets unusually hot, or is physically damaged, stop using and charging it, and take it to a battery recycling drop-off. Don't put a damaged battery in household garbage. Children and pets should never be able to reach your devices or bottles.
For a village the size of Tramping Lake, the practical upshot is simple: a device you can recharge reliably is one less thing to reorder. And if you're choosing between the two here, the question is really refillable versus disposable — the battery details just tell you how each will behave once it's in your hand. Ask if you'd like a recommendation.
We don't sell to anyone under 19, in any province; that's also where Saskatchewan's legal age is set.
