Vape Delivery in Veregin, SK
Vape Delivery in Veregin, Saskatchewan | Prairie Vape
Doukhobor settlers established Veregin in 1904, and from 1917 to 1931 it was the headquarters of the Christian Community of Universal Brotherhood. Since 2006 it's been a National Historic Site, preserved as a heritage village of twelve buildings, from a Prayer Home to a brick-oven bakery. This page is about something far more recent: two abbreviations you'll see all over vape listings, MTL and DTL, and why the difference decides what you should buy.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does MTL mean on a vape listing?
What does MTL mean on a vape listing?
Mouth-to-lung — a tight, cigarette-style draw that usually pairs with 12 to 20 mg/mL.
What does DTL mean?
What does DTL mean?
Direct-to-lung — an open draw straight into the lungs, usually paired with 0 to 6 mg/mL.
Can one device do both MTL and DTL?
Can one device do both MTL and DTL?
The Uwell Caliburn G4 Mini can — its dual airflow adjustment moves from a tight MTL draw to a looser DTL one.
Why is the Gcore 40K DTL only 5 mg/mL?
Why is the Gcore 40K DTL only 5 mg/mL?
Direct-lung draws carry much more vapour per breath, so lower strengths are standard.
MTL, DTL, and the airflow in between
MTL stands for mouth-to-lung. It's the draw most people start with, and it mimics smoking a cigarette: you draw vapour into your mouth, hold it briefly, then inhale into your lungs. The airflow is tight, the cloud is small, and it pairs with higher nicotine strengths.
DTL stands for direct-to-lung, sometimes written DL. You inhale straight into the lungs in one breath, the way you'd take a deep breath of air. The airflow is open, the cloud is bigger, and it pairs with much lower strengths.
Why the strength difference? Because of how much vapour each puff carries. A direct-lung draw moves far more vapour per breath than a mouth-to-lung one, so a strength that feels comfortable in a tight draw becomes harsh in an open one. That's why MTL setups commonly run between 12 and 20 mg/mL, while DTL setups usually sit in the 0 to 6 mg/mL range. And 20 mg/mL is a firm ceiling: nothing stronger is legal to sell anywhere in Canada.
The Gcore 40K DTL is a clear example of the second style. It's a direct-to-lung disposable at 5 mg/mL — a quarter of the strength of a typical 20 mg/mL disposable — rated around 40,000 puffs, in four flavours. The "DTL" in the name tells you exactly how it's meant to be used.
The Uwell Caliburn G4 Mini shows a third option: a device that covers both. It has dual airflow adjustment, which lets you move from a tight MTL draw to a looser DTL one. It's a refillable pod system with a 3mL pod, an 1,100mAh battery, USB-C charging, adjustable output from 5 to 35W, and Uwell's PRO-FOCS 4.0 flavour technology. It comes in twelve colours.
How does adjustable airflow work in practice? The airflow control changes how much air is pulled past the coil. Closed down, air is restricted, the draw tightens, and vapour is concentrated — MTL. Opened up, more air flows, the draw loosens, and the vapour is carried in a bigger breath — toward DTL. Wattage follows along: lower settings suit a tight draw, higher settings a looser one.
The catch with a flexible device is that the e-liquid has to match the setting. If you run the G4 Mini tight and low, a 20 mg/mL nicotine salt is a common pairing. If you open it up and raise the wattage, that same liquid will feel too strong, and a lower-strength e-liquid is the right switch. Many people who own adjustable devices keep to one style simply to avoid juggling bottles.
If you do buy an adjustable device, give yourself time to find your setting. Start tight and low, try it for a day or two, then open the airflow a notch at a time. Changing everything at once makes it hard to tell what actually improved the draw.
So which should you pick? If you're used to cigarettes or tight disposables, MTL is the familiar starting point, and the G4 Mini set tight will feel natural. If you already know you prefer a big, open draw at low strength, the Gcore 40K DTL is ready to go with nothing to set up. And if you're curious about both, the G4 Mini lets you try the range on one device.
If you're completely new to vaping and unsure which style will suit you, start with MTL. It's the easier transition from cigarettes, and most disposables are built for it. You can always try a looser draw later on an adjustable device once you know what you like.
One more reason to understand these labels: they prevent the most common mismatch. A DTL product used with an MTL habit feels airy and underwhelming; an MTL product used with a DTL habit feels harsh. Neither is faulty. They're built for different draws.
A point about naming. Not every product carries MTL or DTL in its title the way the Gcore 40K DTL does. When the label doesn't say, look at the strength: a product at 20 mg/mL is almost certainly meant for a mouth-to-lung draw, while one at 3 to 6 mg/mL is meant for a direct-to-lung one.
For visitors to the heritage village, a note of courtesy: museum grounds and historic buildings are no place to vape. Treat them the way you'd treat any preserved site, and step well away from buildings, doorways, and other visitors.
Delivery to Veregin works like anywhere else we ship. Orders leave our Saskatoon location by tracked courier, with tracking sent as soon as they ship; a couple of days is typical, and same-day delivery only covers Saskatoon's city limits. Photo ID is checked at checkout and again at the door, so someone 19 or older with matching ID has to be there.
If you order the G4 Mini, add e-liquid in the same order — it arrives empty. Keep bottles and devices somewhere a child or pet can't get to, with bottle caps tight. When a device is finished, its lithium battery belongs at a battery or electronics recycling point.
Every item we sell is sourced through an authorized Canadian distributor and carries the federal excise stamp. Saskatchewan restricts flavoured vaping products beyond tobacco, mint, and menthol to specialty vape shops and online retailers, and Veregin is covered by the same rule as the rest of the province.
Orders can be as small as a single item, with no membership involved.
Our customers must be at least 19, in every province, and in Saskatchewan that's also the legal line.
