Most e-liquids are made from four kinds of ingredient: two base liquids, flavouring, and nicotine. The proportions change from product to product, and those proportions are what make one bottle feel different from another.
The two base liquids are propylene glycol, usually shortened to PG, and vegetable glycerin, shortened to VG. Both are there to carry the flavouring and nicotine and turn into vapour when heated. PG is thinner and carries flavour sharply, with more of a throat sensation. VG is thicker and sweeter, and produces a denser, smoother cloud. Every e-liquid strikes some balance between the two.
That balance affects which device suits a liquid. Thinner, higher-PG liquids wick quickly into small coils and suit compact pods. Thicker, higher-VG liquids are better suited to devices with larger coils and more airflow, where they have room to soak through the wick. A very thick liquid in a small pod can wick too slowly and taste burnt.
Flavouring is the third ingredient, and it's where the variety name comes from. Lemon Drop 60ml comes in 16 varieties; Berry Drop 60ml comes in four. The variety you pick decides the flavouring, but not the strength or the base.
Nicotine is the fourth. It's measured as a concentration in mg/mL, and the bottle size doesn't change it. This is where the two products on this page differ most. Lemon Drop 60ml is 20 mg/mL. Berry Drop 60ml is 3 mg/mL. Same bottle size, same kind of product, but one has close to seven times the nicotine concentration of the other.
Why would two 60ml bottles differ so much? Because they're built for different devices. A tight, low-wattage pod sends a small amount of vapour per puff, so a higher concentration like 20 mg/mL suits it. A higher-output device with more airflow sends much more vapour per puff, so a low concentration like 3 mg/mL is the comfortable match. The label is effectively telling you which kind of device each bottle is meant for.
Canada's legal limit applies whatever the bottle: 20 mg/mL is the maximum any vaping product can contain, and nothing stronger can be sold here. Lemon Drop 60ml sits at that ceiling; Berry Drop 60ml sits near the bottom of the range.
Nicotine also comes in two forms: freebase and salt. A salt is nicotine paired with an acid, which makes it smoother at high concentrations. Salt e-liquids are usually labelled as such — "salt" or "salt nic" in the name. When a label doesn't say, check the description or ask.
A few things aren't in a bottle, or shouldn't be. There's no oil in a properly made e-liquid, and nothing meant to be swallowed. That last point matters practically: nicotine e-liquid is dangerous if swallowed, and a bottle belongs capped and well out of reach of children and pets.
Freshness matters too. E-liquid slowly changes over time, especially with heat and light, and some darken gradually after opening. A colour change alone isn't a problem, but a bottle that smells or tastes clearly off is past its best. Storing bottles somewhere cool and dark slows that down.
So how do you choose between Lemon Drop 60ml and Berry Drop 60ml? Start with your device. A tight mouth-to-lung pod at lower wattage generally suits the 20 mg/mL Lemon Drop. The flavour you taste also depends on the device. The same bottle can taste brighter in one pod and softer in another, so if a flavour disappoints, try adjusting the wattage before writing it off.

Match the strength to your device first, then choose the flavour. Everything else — the base, the ingredients, the bottle size — is already decided for you.
