Why switch at all? Disposables are convenient, but for someone who vapes every day, a refillable device usually costs less per session over time. You buy the device once and then just e-liquid, with the occasional replacement pod. The trade-off is a minute of filling now and then.
If you're not ready to commit to a refillable yet, a disposable is still a fine choice, and the catalogue has plenty. But many people who make the switch find they prefer the flexibility of picking a new bottle whenever they like, instead of a new device every time.
Here's the setup we'd suggest.
The device: Uwell Caliburn G4 Mini. It's compact, with a 3mL pod, an 1,100mAh battery, and USB-C charging. Output adjusts from 5 to 35W, and it has dual airflow adjustment, so you can set a tight, cigarette-like draw or open it up for a looser one. Uwell's PRO-FOCS 4.0 technology is built in for flavour. It comes in twelve colours, so pick one you like.
On choosing a colour: it's purely personal, but a brighter colour is easier to spot if you tend to misplace things. With twelve options for the G4 Mini, there's something for most tastes.
The e-liquid: Flavour Beast 30mL Juice. A 30ml bottle at 20 mg/mL, with 46 variants to choose from. That's a strength well suited to the G4 Mini used with a tight draw at lower wattage — the way most people coming from disposables will want to start.
How long will that bottle last? The G4 Mini's pod holds 3mL, so 30ml is about ten fills. For a lot of daily users, that's a good couple of weeks, and often longer.
If you vape more than that, two bottles in the first order is a sensible start, and your order history will make the next one quick.
A quick note on strength. If you later open up the airflow and turn the wattage up, 20 mg/mL will start to feel harsh; at that point a lower-strength e-liquid is the better fit. But for starting out, a tight draw at 20 mg/mL feels closest to a disposable. It's also as high as it goes: Canadian law caps vaping products at 20 mg/mL, and stronger products aren't legal to sell.
Ready to order? Here's the whole process.
Add the Caliburn G4 Mini in your colour. Add Flavour Beast 30mL Juice in the flavour you want — or two bottles in different flavours, if you'd like options. Go to checkout, enter your Vonda address, and verify your age with government-issued photo ID. You'll see the full total, delivery included, before confirming.
Your order is packed at our Saskatoon location and sent by tracked courier; tracking reaches your inbox as it ships. Plan on a couple of days. Vonda is close to Saskatoon, but same-day delivery only runs inside Saskatoon's city limits.
The courier will ask for ID on delivery, and the package goes only to someone 19 or older whose ID matches the order.
Watch your tracking page for the "out for delivery" status; that's the day to make sure someone 19 or older with matching ID is home.
When it arrives: charge the G4 Mini, fill the pod to the line, and give the coil around five minutes to soak before your first puff. Start at the low end of the wattage range with the airflow tight, and adjust from there.
Day to day, a small routine helps: top up the pod in the evening and charge the device overnight. Starting each day with a full pod and a full battery means you'll rarely be caught short, whether you're at work in town or out on the farm.
A few quick answers for first-time refillable owners. Do you need to prime the coil? Just let it soak after filling; that's all priming really means. How do you know the pod needs replacing? When the flavour turns flat or burnt even with fresh e-liquid. Can you mix flavours in the pod? You can, but it's easier to finish one before switching, since leftover e-liquid will blend with the new one.
When the bottle runs low, reorder the e-liquid alone; your order history makes it quick.
Travelling with a refillable device is easy, too. Keep the pod filled but not overfilled, carry the device upright where you can, and store the bottle in a sealed bag in case of pressure changes. If you fly, check the airline's rules on devices with lithium batteries; they usually need to travel in your carry-on, not checked luggage.
Keep the bottle's cap on tight and the bottle itself somewhere cool and dark — and high up or locked away where kids and pets can't reach, since e-liquid is harmful if swallowed. A device at the end of its life belongs at a battery or electronics recycling drop-off, which is easy to fit into a Saskatoon trip.
Everything on our shelves is supplied by authorized Canadian distributors, and every item carries the federal excise stamp. In Saskatchewan, flavoured vaping products other than tobacco, mint, and menthol can be sold only by specialty vape retailers and online — so a 46-variant e-liquid range is something you'll find through a shop like ours.
Whether it's one bottle or a full kit, there's no order minimum and no membership required.
We check that every buyer is 19 or over, wherever they are in Canada, the same as Saskatchewan's age limit.
