How long will it take? Usually a couple of days. Same-day delivery is available only inside Saskatoon's city limits.
What is e-liquid, exactly? It's the liquid a refillable device turns into vapour. It's mainly made of two base liquids, propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin, plus flavouring and, usually, nicotine.
Which bottles would you suggest for a first order? Two good starting points are Lix 30ml and G Core 30mL Juice. Both come in 30ml bottles at 20 mg/mL. Lix is a nicotine salt e-liquid made for refillable pod systems, in four varieties. G Core 30mL Juice comes in nine varieties.
What's the difference between them? Mainly flavour range. Lix keeps a short list of four; G Core offers nine. If you like to rotate flavours, G Core gives you more room. If you'd rather keep it simple, Lix is an easy choice.
Can I try a flavour before buying a full bottle? A 30ml bottle is a modest commitment, which makes it a sensible size for testing a flavour. Buying two different 30ml bottles is a practical way to compare flavours without overbuying.
Why is 20 mg/mL so common? It's the usual strength for small pod systems used with a tight, cigarette-style draw. It's also the most any vaping product can contain in Canada. Nothing stronger can be legally sold.
Can I use these in any device? They're meant for refillable pod systems used at lower wattage. In a high-output device with a big, open draw, 20 mg/mL will feel harsh; a lower strength suits those devices better.
What's the difference between freebase and salt e-liquid? Freebase nicotine is the traditional form, often used at lower strengths in higher-output devices. Salt nicotine is smoother at higher strengths and suits small pods. Both Lix and G Core are listed at 20 mg/mL, the kind of strength pods are built for.
How long does a 30ml bottle last? It depends on your pod and your habits. A pod holding 2mL gets about fifteen fills from 30ml; a 3mL pod gets about ten. Many daily users get a couple of weeks or more from one bottle.
Should I buy one bottle or two? For a first order, two is sensible: either two of the same flavour so you're not caught short, or one of each to compare Lix and G Core.
Can I mix two e-liquids? You can, but it's usually better to finish one before switching. Leftover liquid in the pod will blend with the new one, which can muddy both flavours.
Do I need a new pod when I change flavour? Not necessarily, but strong flavours can linger in a wick. If a new flavour tastes off, a fresh pod usually fixes it.
What if the flavour tastes weak? Check that the pod is filled and the wick has soaked. If it's been in use a while, the pod may need replacing. A tired coil is the most common reason a good flavour tastes flat.
How do I fill a pod? Follow your device's instructions. Generally, open the fill port, fill to the marked line, close it, and wait a few minutes before vaping so the wick soaks through. Don't overfill; that's the most common cause of leaks.
What if I don't have a device yet? Add one to the same order. A bottle of e-liquid without a device isn't much use, and ordering both together means you can start as soon as the package arrives.
How should I store e-liquid? Upright, with the cap closed tight, in a cool, dark place. And keep it where no child or pet can get at it: nicotine e-liquid is harmful if swallowed. A high cupboard or a locked box works well.
What if I spill some? Wipe it up promptly, and wash any liquid off your skin with soap and water.
Does e-liquid expire? It keeps well if stored properly, but flavour can fade over time, especially with heat and light. Buy what you'll use within a reasonable time.
How is my age checked? With government-issued photo ID at checkout, then again by the courier on delivery.
Who can accept the package? Only an adult aged 19-plus holding ID that matches the order can take it. It won't be left unattended.
What if I miss the delivery? Tracking will show whether the courier will try again or hold it for pickup. Bring your ID if collecting.
Does winter affect delivery? "Much snow" isn't just the town's name. Winter storms can add a day on rural roads, so order a bit earlier between November and March.
